The programme

This programme is about putting the building blocks in place for those in their first job and setting them on the path to becoming a high performer in their role. “The most common people and soft skills lacking relate to self- management skills (72% of all skills gaps), including the inability among staff to manage their own time or prioritise tasks or to manage their feelings and the feelings of others.” Government Social Research 2020. This 3 month programme will help new starters understand some of the business basics, know what employers are expecting of them, take ownership of their role and development and learn how to communicate effectively in business. Once completed, members can choose to enrol on one of the other programmes for the remainder of their membership.
